Alimosho LG Chairman Issues Apology To Lagos Assembly Following SuspensionJelili Sulaimon, the suspended chairman of Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State, has issued an apology to the state Assembly following his removal due to misconduct and disrespect. In a letter addressed to Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, which he presented on the floor of the House, Sulaimon acknowledged that his actions may have disrespected the legislative body. He expressed regret and pledged to uphold respect for the Assembly while working collaboratively with its members in the future.

Additionally, through a letter from his legal representatives, Sulaimon informed the Assembly that he has withdrawn a lawsuit he had previously filed against them in the Federal High Court in Abuja.

In his letter, he stated: “I sincerely apologize for any actions or decisions on my part that may have led to misunderstandings between myself and the esteemed Lagos State House of Assembly. I realize that my conduct might have been perceived as disrespectful, which was never my intention. I regret any discomfort this may have caused to you and the entire House.”

Sulaimon emphasized his respect for the Assembly and his commitment to improving their relationship moving forward. However, as of the latest updates, the House had not yet debated his letter of apology.
