During an episode of the Mic On Podcast with TV anchor Seun Okin, Adeyanju disclosed that a significant portion of the forex distributed by the CBN during the naira depreciation crisis was allocated to prominent figures in the country such as Dangote and BUA.

“Almost 70% of the forex that CBN gave out was given to Dangote and BUA are those Nigerians? how many Nigerians even have the connection or capacity to secure forex from the CBN?.”

The activist also leveled accusations of tribalism and nepotism against CBN Governor Yemi Cardoso.

“The entire process is fraught with fraud, with man know man, with corruption, and these Lagos boys that have come they have reorganized CBN to such a way that CBN is more a Lagos island agency now, changed most directors you replaced them with Yorubas and they are not doing anything focused on the economy they are doing plain politics in the CBN.”
