During a press conference in Abuja, Ejimakor expressed grave concerns over Kanu’s situation, warning that he may never be seen again due to his total isolation. He attributed this development to Kanu’s recent courtroom actions, which led to a disruption during his last appearance at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Recently, Kanu sparked controversy by requesting Justice Binta Nyako to recuse herself from his case, citing a lack of confidence in her impartiality. Despite opposition from federal government lawyers, Justice Nyako agreed to step down.

Ejimakor stated, “Today, in violation of existing court orders and the Constitution, the DSS prevented Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s legal team from meeting him at the detention facility. It seems the DSS has canceled all future visitations as retaliation for Kanu’s actions in court, which embarrassed Justice Binta Nyako. This means the DSS, on behalf of the federal government, has unlawfully isolated Kanu from his lawyers, making his solitary confinement absolute. I cannot say when, or if, we will be able to see him again.”
