As the eldest son of the late retired General Orho Obada, he voiced his firm stance that it was time for opposition parties to abandon their petitions and allow President Tinubu to concentrate on his governing responsibilities.

Chief Obada emphasized that both petitioners, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

who have expressed dissatisfaction with the results of the February 25th presidential election and the recent decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, should put aside their differences and enable Tinubu to carry out his duties as the nation’s president. He underscored that the era of conflict should come to a close.

Furthermore, Chief Obada urged the Senate to confirm Hon Stella Okotete as a Minister and expressed his optimism that Chief Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the APC’s gubernatorial candidate in the recent Delta state election, would eventually have his mandate reinstated through legal processes.

He expressed his viewpoint, stating, “I want to urge all parties at this time to set aside their differences, even with their cases pending at the Supreme Court.

I am among those who believe that the Supreme Court’s judgment will favor the President. Therefore, it is essential to convey to all concerned that it is time to put an end to this.

We should give the President the space he needs to concentrate on governing Nigeria. Let us all support Mr. President’s success.”
