Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has spoken out following reports of a crisis in the marriage of Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko, amid allegations of domestic violence.

Recent reports claimed that Ned Nwoko has been physically assaulting Regina, with her brother allegedly confirming the abuse and calling out the senator publicly.

Reacting to the controversy, Angela Okorie took to her Instagram page to express outrage over the plight of women suffering in silence, condemning domestic abuse in all forms and insisting that “no man has the right to hit a woman.”

She urged women to speak up and reject toxic relationships, emphasizing that “marriage is not a prison” and “love should never inflict pain.”

Okorie wrote:
