According to Shinkafi, Dr. Matawalle, a proven leader, administrator, and grassroots politician, will bring value to President Tinubu’s government as citizens eagerly await the dividends of democracy.
He highlighted Matawalle’s political experience as a commissioner, three-time member of the House of Representatives, and one-term executive governor of Zamfara State.
Shinkafi also noted that Matawalle’s achievements as governor, despite security challenges, testify to his competence and ability to meet the needs, aspirations, and expectations of the people under his leadership.
He concluded by affirming that Matawalle’s nomination as a minister has renewed the confidence of APC members in Zamfara State.
