Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, who also serves as the Chairman of the council, expressed this during a conversation with journalists in Yenagoa.
Yahaya, accompanied by members of the National Working Committee of the APC, explained that their visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the national leadership and the state chapter to secure the party’s success in the upcoming election.
He emphasized that the APC’s candidate possesses the necessary experience and skills for governing the state, and enjoys widespread acceptance among the people.
He further noted that the postponement of the official campaign launch was to ensure adequate preparations for welcoming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the event, and assured that a new date for the launch would be announced soon.
In closing, he urged all supporters and well-wishers to participate enthusiastically in the campaign rallies.
