In an official statement released yesterday by the spokesperson of the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council, Kingsley Fanwo, the ruling party dismissed the accusation as baseless and unfounded.
Fanwo stated, “As absurd and devoid of logical reasoning as these allegations are, it is crucial to provide the facts to protect the unsuspecting public from the opposition’s unfounded propaganda. Their intention is to incite fear, disseminate falsehoods, and create the illusion of unrest in Kogi.”
He added, “They recognize that they cannot secure victory in any election here because the people of Kogi State have confidence in their trusted leaders. Our Director General, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, is known for his transparency and adherence to the rule of law. He has earned the trust of the people and does not need to entertain any underhanded tactics to secure electoral victory.”
He urged the public to dismiss the imaginative fabrications of those crafting this fiction and emphasized that the APC is poised to win a free, just, and credible election on November 11.
