Speaking in an interview on Arise Television on Friday, Arabambi stated that this development hindered the party from accounting for 54,000 out of the 189,000 polling units during the presidential election tribunal.

He accused the Labour Party of misleading Nigerians about the true reasons behind its failure to submit complete election results within the 21-day deadline prescribed by the Electoral Act.

“We failed woefully in 54,000 polling units. We had no results to present at the tribunal. Many Obidients served as agents, but because they weren’t paid ₦10,000, they absconded with the results,” Arabambi said.

He went on to accuse the party—particularly its leadership and presidential candidate, Peter Obi—of going to court and falsely blaming the judiciary for the election loss.

Arabambi also alleged that the internal crisis rocking the Labour Party began when the leadership tried to conceal the real issues, claiming that figures such as Aisha Yesufu, Valentine Ozigbo, Pastor Itua Ighodalo, and Oseloka Obaze were responsible for the mismanagement of campaign funds.
