Arrested Man Claims Partnership With Bandits, Assisting Their Liberation From Police CustodyLocal operatives from the Katsina Community Watch Corps (CWC) have apprehended a man named Umaru Wakili in Gora Dan Saka, located in the Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Bakatsine reveals the details of Wakili’s arrest by the Katsina Community Watch Corps. During questioning, he reportedly admitted to being part of a criminal syndicate and identified several accomplices.

Wakili, 45, hailing from Gora Dan Saka, shared, “My name is Umaru Wakili, and I belong to the Hausa-Bayajida ethnic group.” He continued, “I was arrested for allegedly bailing out bandits. Among those I assisted are Alhaji Tukur Harno, Yaruku Lukudu, Musa Dan-gida Daoji, and Marayi Uba-daba, all identified as bandits. Additionally, the son of Alhaji Yau is involved in rustling; he was previously detained by the Police Area Command for rustling offenses.”

He also mentioned a certain Hamza, claiming, “While I wasn’t the one who secured his release, he is another known bandit. The individuals I named are those we helped to release from police custod
