According to Shaibu, this new legal action influenced Atiku’s decision to dismiss the ongoing case before a circuit court in Illinois.

The statement, released in Abuja, asserts, “Waziri Atiku Abubakar withdrew the case from the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, United States of America, solely because he is pursuing the same matter in a higher court, aiming to prevent any misuse of legal procedures. This marks just the initial phase of the process.”

Shaibu commented on the evident jubilation among Tinubu and his supporters, likening it to a celebratory reaction to a Supreme Court verdict, despite the case being in its early stages.

He underscored the contentious nature of Tinubu’s academic records from elementary school to university, highlighting President Bola Tinubu’s inability to identify a single former classmate.

Shaibu’s statement noted, “Over the past week, Nigerians have keenly followed the ministerial screening taking place in the Senate, where nominees have been asked to disclose their educational background, spanning from primary to tertiary levels.

Notably, some ministerial nominees were classmates with the senators conducting the screening. Paradoxically, the individual who put forth these nominees lacks a documented educational history.

He lacks records of primary school, secondary school, or university classmates. This anomaly arises because he lacks any form of traditional educational history; his origins are shrouded in mystery.”
