GSK, which has been operating in Nigeria for over five decades, revealed its intention to shut down operations in the country, discontinuing the production of prescription drugs and vaccines.
Reacting to the news on Twitter, Atiku highlighted the concerning state of the business environment in Nigeria, stating that the exit of international firms like GSK would exacerbate unemployment.
He urged the government to take proactive steps to encourage foreign investment, improve infrastructure, and implement better fiscal and monetary measures to support businesses in the country.
