Ayodele Fayose Condemns DSS-Prison Officials Clash, Urges President Tinubu To Take Decisive Action


Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has expressed his concern over the recent clash between the Department of State Service (DSS) operatives and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS) officials.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The altercation occurred following the bail granted to the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, by Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

He emphasized the need for the secret police to refrain from engaging in lawlessness, which could tarnish the government’s image.
Fayose also called for accountability and prompt action against the DSS personnel involved in the incident, which took place within the premises of the court.
While expressing his disagreement with Emefiele’s actions as CBN Governor, which led to hardships for Nigerians due to the change of Naira notes, Fayose urged all leaders to speak out against actions that undermine democracy and the rule of law.
He highlighted the importance of restructuring the DSS to ensure the proper functioning of security agencies under civil authority in Nigeria’s pursuit of deepening democratic governance.
