Ballon d’Or Reward On the Table! Bayern Move To Secure Olise’s Future Until 2032
Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a lucrative contract offer for French winger Michael Olise, with discussions said to include a potential financial bonus if he wins the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.
The German champions are keen to secure the 24-year-old’s long-term future amid reported interest from several European heavyweights, including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Bush Radio Academy, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Bayern are considering introducing a special clause that would reward Olise financially if he becomes the world’s best player by winning the Ballon d’Or.
Olise’s current contract with Bayern runs until 2029, but the club are reportedly considering extending the agreement until 2032 to strengthen their hold on the France international.
Reports suggest Bayern could offer the winger an annual salary of approximately €25 million, potentially placing him in the same earning bracket as England captain Harry Kane and German international Jamal Musiala.
Olise is believed to earn around €14 million annually under his current deal, meaning the proposed terms would represent a substantial increase in his earnings.
The winger joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 in a transfer reportedly worth €53 million and has since become an important part of the club’s long-term plans.
Real Madrid have previously been linked with the French international, although reports indicate that the Spanish giants did not submit a concrete offer for him last summer. Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly monitoring his situation.
However, negotiations over a new deal could face complications over a potential release clause. Reports suggest Olise would prefer to include a provision that could allow him to leave Bayern under agreed conditions in the future.
The winger previously had a release clause in his Crystal Palace contract, which Bayern reportedly activated to complete his transfer in 2024. His current agreement with the German club is understood not to contain a similar provision.
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl has previously addressed speculation surrounding the issue, while the club may also prioritise negotiations over Kane’s future before holding more intensive discussions with Olise.
Kane’s contract situation is reportedly an immediate concern for Bayern, with the club seeking clarity over the England striker’s long-term commitment.
Olise’s performances have further strengthened his position as Bayern consider improved terms. He has reportedly recorded eight goals and four assists in seven competitive appearances this season, underlining his growing influence in the team.
His displays for France have also attracted attention, including a notable goal against Italy and praise from national team coach Zinedine Zidane, who described him as a “born leader”.
Although Bayern’s reported plans signal their determination to retain the winger, the proposed contract extension, salary increase and Ballon d’Or bonus remain subject to negotiations and have not been confirmed as a completed agreement.
