Bathroom Fall Claims Life Of 300-Level Student At ATBU

According to sources, Naja’atu had gone to the bathroom in the female hostel at the Gubi campus to take a shower and prepare for her lectures. She was later discovered lying unconscious on the bathroom floor.
A roommate, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that Naja’atu had completed her morning routine and left her clothes for class beside her bed before heading to the bathroom.
ATBU spokesperson Zailani Bappa confirmed the incident, stating that Naja’atu was rushed to the university clinic, but medical staff were unable to locate a vein. She was subsequently transported to the Trauma Centre at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Bappa further noted that Naja’atu was buried in accordance with Islamic rites and that prayers were offered for her soul.
