Bello, who was a founding member of the APC in Bauchi State and a prominent figure in the Bauchi North Senatorial District, announced his decision on Tuesday, citing the unwavering support of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, for his community as a primary reason for his move.

The former APC stalwart played a key role in securing the party’s victory in Giade LGA during the last general elections, making his defection a significant blow to the APC in the state. In his statement, Bello emphasized that his constituents, who have been a constant source of support throughout his political career, urged him to return to the PDP to better advocate for their needs.
