Delivering his message through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, on Saturday, the governor accused the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Timipre Sylva, of harboring anti-development and anti-progress sentiments.

He made these remarks during the Ogbia Constituency 2 rally at Otuokpoti, following campaign visits to the riverine communities of Anyama-Ogbia and Emadike.

The governor stated, “This battle centers on those who support development and those who oppose it. It’s a battle between light and darkness, focusing on your individual and community development.”

“Let it be known that they are plotting to bring outsiders to Anyama, where we have a strong presence. They plan to outfit these individuals in military attire and, with the assistance of a few locals, incite disturbances. Let the world and the military take note,” he added.
