Bent believes that in order to secure the signing of Kylian Mbappe, Arsenal should be willing to sacrifice two of their current players.

Mbappe, who has decided not to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, has attracted interest from several top clubs across Europe. While Real Madrid is considered a strong contender for his signature, reports suggest that Arsenal is also in the running, presenting Mbappe with an enticing prospect of following in the footsteps of his hero, Thierry Henry.

However, meeting Mbappe’s wage demands and transfer fee would require significant financial resources, prompting Bent to propose a bold strategy. He suggests that Arsenal should consider selling either Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard, or Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka, in order to raise the necessary funds for Mbappe’s transfer.

Bent’s suggestion has sparked debates among fans and pundits alike. While some see the potential arrival of Mbappe as a game-changer for Arsenal’s ambitions, others are hesitant about parting ways with promising young talents like Saka and Odegaard.

The prospect of having Mbappe, one of the world’s best players, don the Arsenal jersey is undoubtedly enticing for fans. However, the decision to sacrifice key players to fund his transfer remains a contentious topic that will continue to divide opinions until a resolution is reached.
