Betrayal Of Agreement’: Olarenwaju Reveals Why Atiku Moved Against Jonathan

Olarenwaju shared this while speaking on Space during the “APC Must Go” session on Saturday night.

He explained that his perspective is shaped not only by his discussions with Atiku but also by his desire for a better Nigeria. He said, “Most of the answers I’m giving tonight reflect my wish for a better Nigeria because if the country thrives, life becomes easier for all Nigerians.

“In 2015, I was aligned with Goodluck Jonathan, not Atiku. But political interests then diverged, and Atiku’s political strategy was no longer aligned with Jonathan’s. I understand why he chose to move against Jonathan.

“Was it in my best interest as a Nigerian? Perhaps not. But did he have the right to act against Jonathan? Absolutely, because Jonathan betrayed a gentleman’s agreement.

“I mention this not to stir controversy but to explain how I view politics: through the lens of personal and national interest—assessing whether a politician’s actions serve the greater good and my own interests as a citizen.”
