**Dollar to Naira Exchange Rate Today (Black Market)**

On August 23, 2024, in the Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market), the buying rate for a dollar is ₦1610, while the selling rate is ₦1615, according to sources from Bureau De Change (BDC).

Please note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market rates. The CBN advises individuals to use their respective banks for foreign exchange transactions.

**NNPC’s Revenue from Crude Oil Sales in 2023**

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited reported a revenue of ₦14.07 trillion from crude oil sales in 2023, a 298.7% increase from the ₦3.52 trillion earned in 2022. This was detailed in their Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023.

Earlier, on August 19, the NNPC had declared a total revenue of ₦24 trillion for the 2023 fiscal year.

In the AFS, the company reported ₦7.14 trillion from petroleum product sales, marking a 58.74% increase from the ₦4.5 trillion earned in 2022. Revenue from natural gas sales reached ₦2.3 trillion, showing a 237.31% growth compared to the ₦683 billion earned in 2022. Additionally, NNPC earned about ₦94 million from power sales in 2023, compared to no revenue in the previous year. Revenue from services also saw a significant rise to ₦464.94 billion, up 362.5% from ₦100.5 billion in 2022.
