Bobrisky Faces New Allegations As VeryDarkMan Claims To Have More Evidence

VeryDarkMan also clarified that he never intended to defame prominent human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, despite suggestions circulating online.

In an Instagram post, VeryDarkMan said, “I have another voice note to post, which I will share tomorrow, and it’s from a different person. I want a thorough investigation into this matter because the EFCC, the Comptroller General of Prisons, Uncle Femi Falana, and Falz were all named. A deep investigation will reveal everything.”

This statement comes after Falana denied any involvement with Bobrisky and issued a 24-hour ultimatum to VeryDarkMan to retract his comments. Falana’s lawyer also demanded an apology from the influencer.

The controversy began when VeryDarkMan shared an audio clip in which Bobrisky claimed that after being sentenced for the abuse of naira notes in April, his godfather, with the help of the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, arranged for him to serve his six-month sentence in a private apartment. Bobrisky also allegedly claimed that he had been contacted by rapper Falz and his father, Femi Falana, who offered to help secure a Federal Government pardon for ₦10 million.

Falana’s legal team refuted this, stating: “Our client has never spoken to Bobrisky regarding his alleged pardon or any other matter.”

In response, VeryDarkMan clarified that he never accused Falana of wrongdoing, but was merely skeptical about Bobrisky’s claims.

“I did not defame Uncle Falana, and I never will. He is someone I respect deeply, not only because he is a SAN but because of his dedication to defending people like me—those who speak out against societal ills and government misconduct,” he explained.

“I only raised doubts about Bobrisky’s claim that Falz connected Uncle Falana to a ₦10 million deal. I couldn’t believe someone of Uncle Falana’s stature would be involved in such a thing, but I didn’t edit that part out because I wanted an investigation. If Bobrisky is lying, he should face the law.”

VeryDarkMan reiterated his respect for Falana, concluding, “I did not defame you, Uncle Falana, and I would never do that. You are someone I hold in high regard.”
