The party also confirmed that it will release its primaries schedule within the week, despite ongoing internal and legal challenges affecting its preparations.

Speaking in an interview with Leadership in Abuja, the National Organising Secretary of the party, Chinedu Idigo, said prolonged court disputes and internal crises had significantly disrupted the party’s timetable, making it difficult to meet earlier deadlines.

He noted that the situation had cost the party valuable time and urged INEC to provide additional flexibility to allow for credible and inclusive primaries for all aspirants.

Despite the setbacks, Idigo said the party was actively working to stabilise its internal processes and would publish its primary election timetable within the week.

He further called on INEC to ensure fairness by accommodating political parties affected by unforeseen delays, stressing that the commission has a duty to maintain a level playing field.

Idigo also disclosed that the ADC has experienced significant growth, claiming over four million Nigerians have registered through its online membership platform.

According to him, the party is positioning itself as one of the largest political movements in the country and remains committed to challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in future elections.

He added that recent judicial developments regarding the party’s leadership have strengthened its internal stability and renewed confidence among members.

Idigo reaffirmed the ADC’s commitment to pursuing policies aimed at national development and insisted the party is determined to remain competitive despite existing challenges.
