Breaking: Atiku Enters 2027 Race, Picks ADC Presidential Ticket Forms

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday officially obtained his nomination and expression of interest forms to contest the 2027 presidential election under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He was accompanied to the party’s national secretariat in Abuja by a large crowd of supporters and political allies.

After collecting the forms, Atiku described the development as a significant step in what he called a broader mission to restore prosperity and reposition the country for better governance.

In a statement, he said the journey represents more than a political contest, but a national movement driven by hope, renewal, and a collective determination to address Nigeria’s challenges.

He called on Nigerians from all regions, religions, and backgrounds to join the cause, stressing that the objective is to rebuild the nation’s promise and restore better living conditions for citizens.

According to him, the movement is aimed at uniting Nigerians toward a shared vision of progress and national recovery.
