Breaking: Despite Challenges, Nigeria Holds A Promising Future, Affirms Adeboye....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has suggested in a recorded video that Jesus Christ might return to the world on October 1st, though the specific year remains unknown. This revelation was made during a homecoming reception for the former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sharafa Tunji-Ishola, in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The video, recorded during Adeboye’s visit to Tunji-Ishola when he served as the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, was played on Thursday. Tunji-Ishola, a former Minister of Mines and Steel and later appointed ambassador by President Muhammadu Buhari in January 2021, was recalled on August 31, 2023, by President Bola Tinubu.
During the visit, Adeboye praised Tunji-Ishola for being the first ambassador to invite him to the Nigeria House in the UK. In the recorded video, Adeboye emphasized God’s special love for Nigeria, connecting it to the choice of October 1st as Independence Day by the nation’s founding fathers.
Adeboye shared his belief that Nigeria is a unique country, pointing out that October 1st corresponds with the biblical Feast of Trumpets, a significant date that some scholars associate with Jesus Christ’s potential return. The pastor noted that while the day is known, the exact year remains uncertain. Drawing a parallel between the biblical significance of October 1st and Nigeria’s Independence Day, Adeboye suggested that God played a role in the selection of this date.
Despite acknowledging the challenges and turbulence faced by Nigeria, Adeboye expressed confidence in the nation’s future, attributing it to God’s special interest in the country. He encouraged listeners, expressing the belief that Nigeria would overcome its difficulties and move toward a glorious future.
