Among those affected are Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri, Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
These individuals are part of the 568 landowners in Maitama II, Cadastral Zone A10, Abuja, whose land allocations have been withdrawn.
According to the Minister’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, the revocation was a result of the expiration of a two-week extended grace period for the payment of Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) fees. The affected individuals failed to meet the payment deadline within the given timeframe.
