Breaking: Maharaj Ji Reveals Demands To Secure Nnamdi Kanu’s Freedom
The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has pledged to work toward the release of Nnamdi Kanu, but only on certain conditions: the cessation of Biafra radio broadcasts and the suspension of the sit-at-home order.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In an interview on his temple’s in-house radio on Wednesday, Maharaj Ji stated that the imprisoned leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) faces severe legal consequences, emphasizing that anyone found guilty of terrorism in Nigeria is accountable under the law.
“We are, however, grateful that the matter has been temporarily put on hold. By law, given the charges, the penalty would normally be death due to the severity of the crimes associated with him. It is only by grace that Kanu has escaped this,” he said.
Maharaj Ji explained that any move toward Kanu’s release would require a political settlement. He outlined steps for those advocating for a pardon:
-
Halt Biafra radio broadcasts wherever they are operating
-
Suspend the sit-at-home order
-
Accept the legal judgment, while Igbo elders work behind the scenes to present their case to the President
He also addressed political tensions, noting, “The Igbos have now been brought to the center of politics by Tinubu, and the Northern caliphate is not pleased with this shift. They are spreading propaganda that the East is being Islamized. Once these steps are taken, I am confident Kanu’s release can be facilitated, and I am ready to help make that happen.”
