During the unveiling of the new office complex of the Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC on Thursday, the AGF highlighted the significance of the EFCC in eliminating barriers to accountability in government institutions, aligning with the Tinubu administration’s objectives. He underscored the need for mechanisms that empower Nigerians to hold public officers accountable.

Addressing the pressing issue of recovering Nigeria’s stolen wealth, the AGF expressed deep concern, stating that the EFCC is expected to lead efforts in tracing, recovering, and facilitating the return of pilfered national assets.
