She was reportedly returning from church when she was fatally shot by the police officer, ASP Vandi, who was stationed at Ajiwe Police Station.
Regarding this incident, which garnered national attention in 2022, Justice Ibironke Harrison of a Lagos High Court delivered a verdict on Monday.
The judge found the police officer, Darambi Vandi, guilty of a single charge of murder and sentenced him to death by hanging for his role in shooting and killing Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem, a lawyer based in Lagos.
