Breaking News: VeryDarkMan Remanded In Police Custody
Controversial social media commentator Martin Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has been remanded in police custody following his arraignment in an Abuja court for cyberbullying charges.
VDM, as he is commonly referred to, pleaded not guilty to all accusations but was detained by authorities until his next court appearance, scheduled for the following Wednesday.
According to reports from Punch, VDM’s legal representative, Deji Adeyanju, sought bail for his client, yet the prosecution requested more time to respond, resulting in the adjournment of the bail hearing to May 29.
It can be recalled that in April, VeryDarkMan was apprehended by police on cyberbullying allegations. His arrest allegedly stemmed from a video where he advocated for the arrest of Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okunneye, better known as Bobrisky, and accused him of being shielded by influential homosexual politicians
