The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Secretary to the State Government, Musa Ikhilor.
According to the statement, Itua will be reassigned to a new role that will be communicated at a later time, with the government expressing gratitude for his service and contributions.
The newly appointed CPS, Dr. Ebojele, is described as a seasoned journalist with a strong professional background in media practice.
“The appointment underscores the administration’s commitment to strengthening communication channels between the government and the people of Edo State, ensuring clarity, transparency, and effective dissemination of government policies and programmes,” the statement said.
Dr. Ebojele has worked with reputable media organizations, including Channels Television as Edo/Delta Correspondent, as well as New Nigerian Newspaper, Champion Newspaper, and Comet Newspapers.
