Insiders further explained that the posting is not punitive but a routine progression designed to maximize the expertise of senior officers.

A senior officer at Force Headquarters told Swift Reporters that DCP Adejobi’s new role is both a promotion in rank and a transition to a more strategic and sensitive position, given his proven track record in public communication, operational leadership, and community policing.

“The redeployment of officers is part of the Nigeria Police Force’s administrative tradition. DCP Adejobi’s professionalism, commitment, and outstanding service made him an ideal candidate for this crucial operational responsibility,” the source stated.
