Breaking: President Tinubu Unveils New Appointments, Sparks Fresh Wave OF Reactions

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointments of Temitola Adekunle-Johnson as Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation and MSME, and Mrs. Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health, both within the Office of the Vice President.

In a statement released on Wednesday by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Communications (Office of the Vice President), these appointments align with the ongoing efforts to realize the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in their respective sectors.

Before these new roles, Adekunle-Johnson and Anwuka previously held similar positions, with Adekunle-Johnson serving as Senior Special Assistant and Anwuka as Special Assistant to the President in the Vice President’s office.

In his capacity as Senior Special Assistant, Adekunle-Johnson was pivotal in advancing policies related to job creation and the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria, overseeing initiatives such as the Expanded National MSME Clinics and the Shared Facility Initiative.

Anwuka, on the other hand, played a crucial role in tackling malnutrition and hunger, particularly in vulnerable communities, managing key projects like the Nutrition 774 Initiative.

Their appointments, effective immediately, reflect their continued dedication to advancing the administration’s goals.
