Nollywood actress Ashabi Simple has explained why she involved the police in the arrest of singer Portable.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Portable, who is also her baby daddy, was earlier taken into police custody after Ashabi reported him to the authorities. A video later circulated online showing the singer in handcuffs at a police station, appearing visibly emotional.
Ashabi revealed that the conflict began during the festive period when Portable confronted her and members of her family in public. She claimed he threatened them with an axe and forcefully demanded their phones.
According to her, the situation escalated when Portable punched her brother in the eye, leaving it swollen and shut, and also slapped her sister over a comment she made online that he found offensive.
She recounted that after she managed to escape the initial encounter, Portable later tracked her down and confronted her again with an axe. She alleged that he poured water on her from a pot while chanting words she could not understand, leaving her deeply shaken.
Ashabi said the frightening incidents made her fear for her safety and that of her family, which prompted her to report the matter to the police.
