BREAKING: Tinubu Appoints Bishop Kukah To Key National Position

President Tinubu has appointed Mr. Thomas Etuh (North Central), Chief Fabian Nwaora (South East), Prof. Femi Taiwo (South West), and Zarah Bukar (North East) as members of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Applied Sciences.

According to an official statement, the appointees were chosen based on their exceptional careers and leadership expertise, with the mandate to transform the university into a hub for academic excellence and research.

Tinubu urged them to provide strong leadership and lay a solid foundation as the institution prepares to welcome its first batch of students in September 2025. He emphasized that these appointments align with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the education sector.

The Federal University of Applied Sciences, formerly Nok University, was renamed following its acquisition by the federal government.
