The announcement was made on Monday in Abuja by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, in a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Eno Olotu.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

Ibrahim Ozi – Federal Capital Territory

Ezemama Chidiebere – Imo State

Garba Usman – North Central Geo-Political Zone

Mohammed Ishiyaku – North East Geo-Political Zone

Ukaire Chigbowu – South East Geo-Political Zone
According to Walson-Jack, the appointments followed a thorough and transparent selection process in line with President Tinubu’s commitment to meritocracy and excellence within the public service.
She stated, “The new Permanent Secretaries possess the experience, integrity, and competence required to strengthen public service delivery and drive the administration’s development agenda.”
The Head of Service added that the move forms part of ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the civil service for improved efficiency and better policy implementation.
Walson-Jack commended President Tinubu for promoting transparency, professionalism, and merit-based advancement in the civil service, noting that such measures are vital in rebuilding public trust and enhancing institutional capacity.
“These appointments reaffirm the administration’s resolve to build a competent, accountable, and result-oriented civil service that effectively serves the Nigerian people,” she said.
