President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of three new Heads of Federal Agencies.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information & Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).

According to the statement, Bello Bawa Bwari from Niger State has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency for an initial term of four years, effective September 18, 2025, in line with Section 5 of the National Biosafety Management Agency Act, 2015.

Similarly, Hon. Barr. Aminu Junaidu from Zamfara State has been named Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Investment and Security Tribunal for a five-year tenure, also effective from September 18, 2025.

In addition, Olayiwola Nurudeen Awakan has been appointed as the Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation for a four-year term, effective September 2, 2025.

“These appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening critical sectors and institutions across the country. The President urges the appointees to bring their expertise and dedication to bear in advancing the mandate of their respective agencies for the benefit of the nation,” the statement concluded.
