The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost one of its prominent voices, as its spokesperson, Tunde Oladunjoye, has been confirmed dead

Oladunjoye, a native of Ijebu-Itele in Ijebu East Local Government Area, reportedly died in the United Kingdom after battling a prolonged illness.
The family confirmed his passing in an official statement, saying:
“It is with deep sorrow and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah that we announce the death of our beloved father, husband, brother, and revered leader, Alhaji Abdulraheem Olatunde Ayinde Oladunjoye, who returned to his Creator on Friday, April 4, 2025.”
They added that details of the funeral arrangements would be communicated in due time.
Reacting to the tragic news, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun described Oladunjoye’s death as a monumental loss to both the APC and the state.
In a heartfelt tribute, the governor expressed deep shock and sorrow, stating:
“Receiving the news of the passing of our gallant, resourceful, and cerebral party spokesman and consultant, Tunde Oladunjoye, was deeply devastating. It is a tragedy that is difficult to comprehend.”
He praised Oladunjoye’s unwavering commitment and loyalty, noting that he was an exceptional communicator who passionately defended the government’s image and policies.
“Oladunjoye gave his all—he was a fearless and articulate voice, arguably the best spokesman Ogun APC has ever had. His brilliance, tenacity, and contributions to our party’s growth and our administration’s achievements will never be forgotten,” Abiodun added.
The governor extended his condolences to Oladunjoye’s family, the APC community in Ogun, and all who worked closely with him, describing him as “a good man whose absence will be deeply felt.”
Before assuming his role as party spokesman, Tunde Oladunjoye served as Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government Area.
