Upon his arrival, Buhari was welcomed by a reception committee consisting of Governors Dikko Radda of Katsina, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano, Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto, and Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.

Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has voiced his opinion about the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, characterizing it as a “failure.”

Dalung emphasized that the Buhari government did not live up to Nigerians’ expectations and did not deliver on its promises regarding security, economic revitalization, and anti-corruption efforts.

In an interview with Trust Radio, Dalung, a founding member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed his belief in the importance of speaking the truth. He stressed that he is not a hypocrite.

Dalung acknowledged Buhari’s integrity as a leader who had faith in the honesty of those around him but lamented that his reputation was tarnished by the actions of the people he had placed trust in.
