The ‘African Giant’ hitmaker has earned back-to-back Grammy nominations since 2018, a remarkable achievement for an African artist. He now boasts a total of 11 nominations, with one Grammy win to his name.

This year, his track ‘Higher’ has been nominated in the Best African Music Performance category.

In other news, Tems is the Nigerian artist with the most nominations at the 67th Grammys, securing spots in three categories. She was nominated for Best Global Music Album, Best African Music Performance, and Best R&B Song for ‘Born In The Wild,’ ‘Love Me Jeje,’ and ‘Burning,’ respectively. With these nominations, Tems now has a total of eight Grammy nods.
