Emmanuel reported multiple break-ins at his business place in Agbor, Delta State, throughout 2022, including an incident on February 12. After reporting these incidents to the Agbor Police Command, he cited “police officer Duke Amerika” as the official informed about the repeated robberies and assassination attempts against him.

Subsequent attacks occurred, and on April 19, 2022, another burglary took place at his building. On this particular day, Emmanuel closed his business at 3 pm, retreated to his private section, and experienced another assault. A man named Happy Uboh was identified as the alleged intruder, who had sent a message to Emmanuel earlier, claiming he was unwell. Emmanuel shared a screenshot of the message with the media.

Following the message, Emmanuel discovered his property was under attack again. He went outside to find Happy seeking help and forgiveness. Despite his staff preventing the attackers’ entry, Happy was found inside the premises without visible injuries. Emmanuel promptly sought assistance for Happy and reported the incident to the Agbor police.

However, Emmanuel claimed that instead of assisting him, the police accused him of killing Happy Uboh. They allegedly insisted he declare an accidental discharge, which he refused. Subsequently, he was arrested, and a false claim of accidental discharge was made at Asaba Command, Delta State.

Emmanuel contended that the police framed him for murder due to his ownership of a licensed firearm. He asserted that he had been a victim of multiple attacks but was being unjustly treated as a criminal.

While in police custody, Emmanuel learned that his property was burgled again on May 15, 2022, with photos depicting the extent of the damage. Despite paying the requested bail amount, the police reportedly refused to release him.

Emmanuel is now pleading for justice and his freedom, stating that the circumstances portray him as the victim of an attack at his private residence. He emphasized his extended detention since April 16, 2022, without a valid cause, suggesting that he is the target of assassination, malicious property damage, and various other attacks.
