He made this reaffirmation while receiving a delegation from the Impact Investing Community, led by the 14th Emir of Kano and Khalifa of the Tijaniyyah Sufi order in Nigeria and neighboring countries, Muhammadu Sanusi II, who also served as a former CBN governor.

During the meeting, Cardoso emphasized his determination, along with his team, to reshape the bank’s image and enhance its impact on the lives of Nigerians by addressing inflation effectively.

He stated, “By the end of our tenure, we aim to see that our policies have brought positive improvements to people’s lives.”

Furthermore, Cardoso expressed his gratitude to the Impact Investing Community for their visit to the CBN, highlighting their potential to contribute to Nigeria’s economic transformation by harnessing investment opportunities at home and abroad.

Acknowledging the Impact Investing Community’s leadership quality and their efforts in raising awareness and fostering partnerships, the CBN Governor assured them of the bank’s collaboration to establish frameworks that promote investments benefiting Nigerians and supporting economic growth.
