Streamer Carter Efe has publicly appealed for assistance in connecting with Afrobeats star Wizkid, expressing hope that he will eventually be acknowledged by the singer despite past tensions between them.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He made the appeal while speaking to Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, whom he asked to help facilitate contact with the music star.

Carter Efe said he has great admiration for Wizkid and wants a direct link with him, stressing that his feelings remain positive despite previous misunderstandings.

He explained that Wizkid’s failure to acknowledge his viral song Machala at the time led to his earlier outbursts, which he now says were driven by frustration and a desire for attention rather than hostility.

According to him, his actions were motivated by love and admiration for the singer and his craft, not by hatred.

“Tell Wizkid to help me, abeg. Help me beg him. I love Wizkid. He didn’t respond when I released Machala, that’s why I was insulting him—to get his attention,” he said.

In response, Sunday Are did not grant immediate access to Wizkid but advised Carter Efe to approach the situation with maturity.

The development comes amid continued discussions around Carter Efe’s viral 2022 track Machala, a tribute song inspired by Wizkid’s popular nickname.

The song gained widespread attention across Nigeria, trending online and enjoying significant chart success.

However, Wizkid has never publicly acknowledged Carter Efe or the song, as he has neither commented on it nor shared it on his platforms, a silence that has continued to fuel debate among fans.
