The drama began on Friday when Seyi Vibez shared a strongly worded post on his account, criticizing Adekunle Gold’s artistry and style.
“Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool,” he wrote.
Although Seyi Vibez did not reveal what triggered the outburst, many fans believe the comments may be linked to a lyric in Adekunle Gold’s recently released track, Life Of The Faaji.
In the song, Adekunle Gold references his “Fuji” sound and includes a line many listeners interpreted as a subtle jab at Fuji Moto, one of Seyi Vibez’s hit songs.
“They love my Fuji/this one no be Fuji Moto,” Adekunle Gold sings in the track.
As of the time this report was filed, Adekunle Gold had not publicly responded to the remarks made by Seyi Vibez.
