Chaos Erupts: Guest Passes Out In Trump’s Office While He Speaks On Obesity Drug Prices Video
A White House event led by U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday briefly descended into commotion after a guest suddenly fainted inside the Oval Office, sparking alarm among attendees.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The incident occurred during the President’s announcement on lowering the cost of obesity medications. The individual, later identified by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt as a representative of one of the partnering healthcare companies, collapsed while Eli Lilly CEO David Ricks was delivering remarks.
Witnesses said the guest, who was standing behind Trump’s desk alongside administration officials and pharmaceutical executives, appeared to lose consciousness before being carefully eased to the floor.
“You OK?” Ricks asked as CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz and other officials rushed to assist. President Trump immediately stood from the Resolute Desk while aides escorted reporters out of the room to allow medical personnel to respond.
Leavitt later confirmed that the guest received prompt medical attention and was in stable condition.
When journalists were readmitted, President Trump sought to calm concerns, saying, “You saw he went down, and he’s fine. They just sent him out. He’s got doctors’ care. But he’s fine.”
The episode, which occurred roughly 30 minutes into the briefing, caused a temporary pause before proceedings resumed.
Thursday’s scare marked the second fainting incident at the White House this year — following an April episode in which a young girl reportedly fainted during Mehmet Oz’s swearing-in ceremony, though officials said she recovered quickly.
