Charly Boy Blasts Opposition: They’re Just Desperate To Sit Where Their Enemies Sat

The coalition, spearheaded by former Senate President David Mark and other prominent opposition figures, recently adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as their platform to challenge President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
While the move has sparked excitement among some Nigerians, others remain skeptical of the true motives behind the alliance.
Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday, Charly Boy dismissed the coalition as a recycled group of politicians responsible for Nigeria’s past failures. He asserted that their mission is not about national progress, but rather a quest to reclaim lost power.
He wrote:
“This is nothing but old wolves wearing new agbada.
“Political coalitions are coming together, but let’s not fool ourselves — not every alliance is a step forward.
“Are they truly fighting for the people, or are they just desperate to occupy the same seats once held by their rivals?
“Are their cries for change genuine, or are they just bitter because they’re no longer the ones enjoying the benefits?
“What Nigeria needs in 2027 isn’t a recycled set of names — we need fresh values, a bold vision, and people with the courage to back them up. This isn’t about revenge; it’s about national rescue.”
