Charly Boy Goes Public: ‘My Son Fears Women, I’m Searching For His Wife

Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has sparked reactions online after announcing that he is actively searching for a wife for his son.

The outspoken Area Fada revealed on Instagram that his 46-year-old son, who was once married but is now divorced, is ready to give marriage another shot. He described him as a master’s degree holder, 5ft 11in tall, humble, and soon returning to Nigeria.

Charly Boy admitted that his son seems to have developed a fear of women, which prompted him to step in and help find a suitable partner. According to him, any interested lady must be from a good home, possess a humble background, and be a genuine graduate.

He further warned that women who do not meet these criteria should not bother applying, writing:

“My people, I still dey look for wife for dis my son. E don marry once, divorce. Now e be like say e dey fear woman. Biko, if you’re from a good home with humble beginnings, DM me. He is coming next month. He is a master’s degree holder, age 46, 5ft 11ins, very humble. If you’re not an authentic graduate, don’t bother. I need to tie him to Nigeria.”
