Chelsea delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in their Premier League encounter at the City Ground.

The opening half lacked spark, with both teams struggling to create clear-cut chances. Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi fired wide early on, while Chelsea’s Andrey Santos and Pedro Neto came close before the break but couldn’t find the breakthrough.

The momentum shifted dramatically after halftime when manager Enzo Maresca made a triple substitution, introducing Marc Guiu, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Moisés Caicedo. The fresh energy immediately transformed Chelsea’s play.

In the 49th minute, youngster Josh Acheampong broke the deadlock with a towering header from Neto’s precise cross. Just three minutes later, captain Reece James set up Neto, who finished clinically to double Chelsea’s lead.

Forest tried to respond, with Neco Williams missing a golden opportunity and Igor Jesus rattling the crossbar. But Chelsea maintained control, dictating the tempo and dominating possession.
