Acapella, in a shared video, accused Omokri of becoming a puppet for the current government, which, according to him, is making life harder for Nigerians. The comedian analyzed one of Omokri’s tweets claiming that Nigerian women spent over $200 million on wigs. Acapella argued that the beauty industry is substantial, and the women made these purchases using the Naira equivalent, contributing to the national economy.

Drawing attention to the lavish spending by senators, who reportedly acquired cars worth over N100 million upon resuming office, Acapella criticized the lack of positive impact on the Nigerian economy from such expenditures.

Highlighting global economic trends, Acapella mentioned that countries like the United Arab Emirates are diversifying their revenue sources away from oil. He asserted that Omokri’s self-proclaimed status as a “table shaker” is built on false claims and emphasized that Omokri has nothing substantial to offer.

Acapella concluded by stating that a non-functional government tends to blame others for its failures, suggesting that Omokri’s criticisms are merely a diversion from the government’s shortcomings.
