Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, and his second wife, Aisha, are expecting their first child together.

Aisha announced the exciting development on Instagram on Monday, November 2, 2026, sharing beautiful maternity photographs to celebrate the pregnancy.

Accompanying the pictures, she simply captioned the post, “Mom era,” signalling her excitement about embracing motherhood.

The couple reportedly tied the knot in a private Islamic marriage ceremony, known as Nikah, in 2023.

Aisha, who is the daughter of former Military Administrator of Plateau and Niger States, Colonel Habibu Shuaibu, manages several businesses.

Her husband, Bello El-Rufai, is a member-elect representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Bello was previously married to his first wife, Kamilah, in 2015.
