Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, has issued a stern warning to criminals in Kano, declaring that the state will no longer serve as a refuge for unlawful activities.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Speaking at the Kano State Police Headquarters during the handover of 1,000 motorcycles to Commissioner of Police Salman Garba, Jibrin emphasized that the police are now better equipped to patrol every corner of the state.

“To all criminals, this is your warning: Cease your illegal activities and embrace peace. The Nigerian Police Force in Kano is fully prepared to respond swiftly and track you down wherever you attempt to hide,” Jibrin said.

The senator highlighted the importance of collective efforts in ensuring security.

“Security is a shared responsibility. It’s not just for the government or security agencies but for everyone — high-net-worth individuals, traditional rulers, religious leaders, students, and everyday citizens. Let’s support the police with information, resources, and prayers. Their sacrifices for our safety must be recognized and appreciated,” he added.

Jibrin also lauded Commissioner Salman Garba for his dedication to improving security in the state.
